4FMR Microneedling Radiofrequency Handpiece. The 4MFR is a premium medical handpiece developed for the 4PLUS aesthetic platform, combining motorized needle delivery with fractional radiofrequency technology to deliver consistent, depth-controlled skin treatments. My role covered the full product development cycle — from internal electronics architecture and PCB integration to ergonomic handpiece design and prototype iteration. The device embeds a precision linear actuator array, custom PCB with onboard sensing, and a transparent tip module housing gold-plated fractional RF needles, all within a compact, sterilizable form factor designed for clinical use. Across multiple design generations, the focus remained on operator confidence, treatment repeatability, and patient safety. The final system integrates seamlessly with the 4PLUS console via a dedicated software interface.
