DAH7 VULVAR HANDPIECE The DAH7 is a professional medical handpiece developed for external vulvar therapy, integrating three synergistic treatment technologies — Electro Bio Energy (EBE), Photo Dynamic Energy (PDE), and Gas Flow Therapy — within a single ergonomic applicator. My role covered the full industrial design process: from concept development and ergonomic studies through CAD modeling and design-for-manufacturing refinement. The form language was driven by anatomical precision — the kidney-shaped profile enables comfortable, targeted application on the vulvar and vestibular area, ensuring homogeneous energy delivery across a delicate and geometrically complex anatomical zone. Internally, the device houses a multi-electrode array for electrostimulation, a photobiomodulation LED matrix, and a gas diffusion channel for optional oxygen or CO₂ therapy. The design translates this technical complexity into a compact, cleanly assembled shell built around a two-part snap-fit enclosure with countersunk fasteners and a transparent cover that communicates the active light therapy. The project required close collaboration with medical engineers to balance clinical efficacy with usability, resulting in a device that is both precise in function and approachable in form.
